کراچی کے ایک چھوٹے سے اسکول سے میٹرک کرکے، گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج سے انٹرمیڈیٹ کیا۔ کالج کے بعد، سلمان نے الیکٹرانکس میں اعلیٰ تعلیم حاصل کی اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ آپ نے کمپیوٹر سائنس کی بھی تعلیم حاصل کی۔ آپ اپنی مشکل زندگی کے مشکل حالات اور پریشان کن لمحات پر قابو پانے کی کوشش کرتے رہے، اپنی خامیوں کو دور کرنے کی کوشش بھی کرتے رہے۔ ایک طویل جدوجہد کے بعد، انہوں نے کینیڈین امیگریشن کے فیڈرل قانون کے ذریعے پوائنٹس بیس سسٹم پرکینیڈا کی امیگریشن حاصل کی۔
After Matriculating from a small school in Karachi, He did his intermediate from Government Degree College. After college, he pursued higher studies in electronics, and in parallel he also studied computer sciences. He kept trying to overcome the difficult situations and troubling moments of his tough life, was also trying to overcame his shortcomings. After a long struggle, He got Canadian immigration by points base system by Canadian Immigration federal law.

After immigrating to Canada, like many new immigrants, Salman Durrani faced numerous Personal, Professional and Financial Challenges during his early years. While working Full time, he remained committed to his Education and Professional development, pursuing his Studies through determination, discipline and perseverance without relying on interest based government or bank loans.
As part of his lifelong commitment to learning, he completed three diplomas in Canada and two master’s degree programs through accredited U.S. based institutions. In addition, he earned 42 professional certifications from respected Government, Educational and Private Training Organizations in Canada. These include American Sign Language (ASL), First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, Cyber Crime Awareness, Child Protection, Kickboxing and a wide range of practical and professional development programs.

He chose a career in Canadian law Enforcement and by the grace of Almighty ALLAH rose to the position of Operations Manager. He resigned from that position and became involved in the automobile and parts business.

The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) is Canada’s largest and oldest HIV service organization, providing free sexual health education, mental health counseling, social support, and employment programs. ACT managed a huge fundraising walk at September 16, 2007, Approximately 7,300 people participated in the 2007 Toronto AIDS Walk for Life. While managing the thousands of people who came to watch this 10-kilometer fundraising walk was not an easy task, the heavy responsibility of security for this walk was given to Pakistani Canadian Salman Durrani, who was the chief of the entire security for the walk for the first time in Canadian history.

The 144-story CN Tower, with its 1,776 steps, is climbed every year to raise funds. In 2007, the United Way organized a CN Tower Stair Climb on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Among the winners of the personal milestone was Salman Durrani’s team. The team was made up of school children who were photographed with Salman on the upper floor of the CN Tower.

زندگی کی پریشانیوں، آسانیوں اور تکلیفوں میں ہی یہ مواقع چھپے ہوتے ہیں، جنھیں رحمان و رحیم سے مدد طلب کرکے یا تو پکڑا جاتا ہے، یا پھر شکوے شکایات اور اپنی سُستی سے انھیں گنوا دیا جاتا ہے۔
میری والدہ ڈاکٹر تسنیم دُرَّانی (مخدوم جہاں بیگم) کراچی کی ایک مشہور گائینالوجسٹ تھیں، جنھوں نے 1964 سے 1994 (اپنی زندگی کی آخری سانس) تک غریب خواتین کا علاج مفت کیا اور اپنے طور پر مسلسل سوشل ورک اور چیریٹی کرتی رہیں۔ میرے والد اخترمحمود دُرَّانی ہمیشہ میری والدہ کو سپورٹ کرتے رہے کیونکہ اُن کے بنا یہ کام بہت مشکل تھا۔ یہ سب میں نے خود دیکھا ہے، ایکسپیریئنس کیا ہے اور اپنے بچپن میں ہی اپنی والدین کی تربیت میں انسانی خدمت کو سیکھا ہے۔ جسے میں نے اپنی زندگی میں ہمیشہ کسی نہ کسی شکل میں شامل رکھا۔ میرا یہ سفر نوجوانی میں مختلف

آج میں آپٹیکل اور ہیئرنگ کیئر کے شعبے سے وابستہ ہوں اور میرا مقصد صرف کاروبار کرنا نہیں، بلکہ صحت سے متعلق شعور، معیاری خدمات اور عوامی آگاہی کو فروغ دینا ہے۔ مستقبل میں میری خواہش ہے کہ مقامی اور بین الاقوامی اداروں کے ساتھ مل کر ایسے منصوبوں پر کام کروں جو خصوصاً ترقی پذیر ممالک میں سماعت، بینائی اور کمیونٹی ہیلتھ کے شعبوں میں مثبت اور دیرپا تبدیلی لا سکیں۔
میرا یقین ہے کہ علم کے ساتھ ذمہ داری بھی آتی ہے۔ مسلسل سیکھنے کا مقصد کسی پیشہ ور طبی ماہر کی جگہ لینا نہیں، بلکہ لوگوں کی ضروریات کو بہتر انداز میں سمجھنا، ذمہ داری کے ساتھ رہنمائی کرنا اور ہمیشہ متعلقہ ماہرین کے کردار اور حدود کا احترام کرتے ہوئے اپنی کمیونٹی کی خدمت کرنا ہے۔

These opportunities are hidden in the troubles, eases, and pains of life, which are either seized by seeking help from the Most Gracious and Merciful, or they are lost through complaints and own laziness.
My Mother, Dr. Tasneem Durrani (Makhdoom Jahan Begum), was a renowned Gynecologist in Karachi, who provided Free Medical Treatment to underprivileged women from 1964 until her passing in 1994, while also consistently engaging in independent social work and charitable activities. My Father, Akhtar Mahmood Durrani, was a constant source of support for her, as this work would have been Extremely Difficult to manage without his backing. I witnessed and experienced all of this firsthand, learning the value of Serving Humanity during my childhood through my Parents’ upbringing a principle I have always incorporated into My Own Life in one form or another.
My journey began from Childhood through years of Volunteer Service with Charitable and Healthcare Organizations, where I had the opportunity to work with Children, Older Adults, and Underserved Communities. Witnessing their challenges firsthand inspired a lasting commitment to Community Welfare, Public Health, and lifelong learning. It was these very Experiences that further Deepened my interest in Humanitarian Service, Public Health, and Community Welfare; indeed, all of this forms the Foundation of my work and my journey of learning today.
I cannot do Everything, but I have been Trying to do whatever little I can for my People in Pakistan. Driven by this purpose, I have completed a range of international courses and professional certifications in hearing health, eye care, community health, psychology, dementia, noise awareness, and related fields. These studies were not intended to replace licensed medical professionals, but to broaden my understanding, strengthen ethical practice, and help me serve people with greater knowledge and responsibility. I am not a physician, audiologist, psychologist, or optometrist, and I fully respect the expertise and professional boundaries of those professions.
Today, I work in the optical and hearing care sector with a focus on quality service, public awareness, and community education. My long term vision extends beyond business. I aspire to collaborate with national and international organizations on initiatives that improve hearing health, vision care, and community well being, particularly in developing countries, where access to awareness and quality care can make a meaningful difference.
I believe that knowledge carries responsibility. Continuous learning enables me to better understand people’s needs, communicate responsibly, and support my community with integrity while always respecting the role of licensed healthcare professionals.
